Download High-Res Dark iPhone Duo Wallpapers [4K UHD Pack]
Dark wallpapers do more than look good. On an OLED iPhone, true black pixels switch off completely, so a dark background makes your icons stand out and saves a little battery. This pack of nine dark iPhone duo wallpapers is built around that idea: moody, low-light scenes that suit a lock screen and home screen pair.
What’s in the pack
Winding Highway. A black-and-white road that appears out of nothing, with only the double centre line catching light. It’s the most minimal one here and works well with white widgets.
Pine Branches Macro. Deep teal needles with small rusty-red buds. It’s quiet and textured, and it makes a good home screen because the pattern hides icon clutter.
Misty Wooden Bridge. A wet plank bridge disappearing into fog, with a single orange lamp at the far end. The teal and amber contrast is the strongest of the set.
Red Sunset Beach. Dark clouds, a glowing red horizon, and pink water reflecting on wet sand. Look closely and you’ll spot a surfer and two gulls near the shoreline.
Crescent Moon. A thin sliver in a navy sky above blurred treetops. It leaves a lot of empty space for your clock.
Graffiti Underpass. A neon-lit tunnel with tube lights overhead and layered street art on both walls. It has an urban, slightly cinematic feel.
Full Moon. One small, detailed moon on pure black, scattered with faint stars. It’s the best pick for maximum OLED contrast.
Milky Way. Dense blue and purple star fields with dark dust lanes cutting through the galaxy. It’s the busiest wallpaper here, and also the most colorful.
Cloudy Mountain Lake. Layered ridgelines fading into haze under a heavy sky, with a warm glow breaking through at the top right.
Picking a lock screen and home screen pair
Choose a busy image for one screen and a calm one for the other. The Milky Way on your lock screen with the crescent moon on your home screen works well, as does the red beach with the highway. Putting two very detailed images side by side makes icons harder to read.
Image quality and source
Every image is high resolution, so edges stay sharp on Pro Max displays, including when you zoom or use Perspective Zoom. All nine photos come from Unsplash, a free image library where photographers share their work, and they remain the work of their original photographers. We’ve resized and organized them for iPhone use.
How to set them
Download the image, open it in Photos, tap Share, then choose Use as Wallpaper. Adjust the crop to keep the focal point clear of the clock and dock.
